DESCRIPTION:This course provides employment training for those individuals interested in becoming skilled mason. Instruction will include basic masonry materials\, tools\, techniques\, safety precautions\, job measurement\, estimating\, mortar mixing\, and the proper technique for laying masonry units.  The course will also address workplace attitudes\, teamwork\, and equipment maintenance.  Students will have an opportunity to obtain National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and OSHA 10-hour pocket card upon successful completion.
