Green Building Rehabilitation Specialist
This program introduces the students to the construction industry, teaches them green building practices, blue print reading, tools of the trades, energy efficiency applications, the use of renewable energy, as well as retrofitting, and regulatory requirements for new and older building structures. The skills acquired prepares the student for immediately employment in the construction, solar, and energy efficiency industry. Additional credentials obtained include the 10 hour OSHA Card, the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Credential, and the EPA RRP lead paint removal certification.
