Heating and Air Conditioning I

The purpose of this course is to prepare students to make a successful start toward becoming craftsmen in the HVAC field.  The course will familiarize students with mechanical codes.  Students will have the opportunity to obtain a National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) pocket card as well as an OSHA ten-hour pocket card upon successful completion of required exams.  Course work includes lectures, handouts, and hands-on experience.  Book required.  The class is limited to 12 students.
