Introduction to Birding in SE North Carolina
This course provides an introduction to birding in Southeastern North Carolina. Emphasis will be placed on identifying common species, anatomy, flight, migration, breeding, and habitats. The class will meet at various outdoor locations to observe various bird populations. This program qualifies for the NC Environmental Educator Criteria II. This class counts towards the Nature Guide Certificate Pathway.
