In today’s fast-paced world, we often depend on food shortcuts to save time. But when storms move in and potentially leave us without electricity for days, these shortcuts quickly lose their worth.
Terry will demonstrate the fading art of canning for those who want to learn how to preserve fresh vegetables and avoid potentially losing frozen food to outages during storms. Canned vegetables can survive power outages; frozen veggies cannot.

Admission is free for members, active duty military and disabled veterans plus one guest (must include military ID cardholder). Non-member all-day admission is $9.50 for adults, $8.50 for seniors, $7.50 for children (3-12), and free for ages 2 and under.
