Understanding the Dementia Journey - A Health & Wellness Speakers Symposium

Seaside UMC, in partnership with the Dementia Alliance of NC, North Carolina Family Support Program, and Cape Fear Area Agency on Aging, present a Speaker's Symposium of experts in the field of Understanding the Dementia Journey. Featured speakers and topics include:
"A Happier Healthier Brain", by Len Lecci, PHD. Dr. Lecci is a Professor of Psychology at the UNCW and is Director of Clinical Services for MARS Memory-Health Network.
"How to Communicate with People Living with Dementia", by Melanie Bunn, RN,NP. Melanie Bunn is a Dementia Training Specialist and Alzheimer's support group facilitator. She has worked in geriatric care since 1983.
"Is It Grief or Is It Depression?", by Melanie Bunn.
