About Us

Southeastern Background Services (SBS) is a nationwide Consumer Reporting Agency (CRA) providing employment background screening and drug testing services to senior living, healthcare, municipalities, hospitality and other employers. Founded in 2010, SBS helps organizations make informed hiring decisions while maintaining an efficient, FCRA-compliant screening process.
Services include county, state and national criminal background searches; motor vehicle records (MVRs); sex offender searches; Social Security number/address history searches; and nationwide drug testing.
SBS EZyApp makes the applicant process easier by allowing candidates to securely complete their information and authorization remotely from a smartphone, tablet, or computer—reducing paperwork and administrative time for HR and hiring teams.
